Accountant

We are seeking a minimum of three years’ experience Accountant to join us. As an Accountant, you will play a critical and key role for all accounting and finance functions at our company and associated entities. You will be responsible for preparing of monthly and yearly financial reports and other day to day accounting tasks in the business and associated entities.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
Maintain General Ledger for Corporate and associated three more entities on a monthly basis including preparing and posting monthly journals, accruals and adjustment entries.
Complete monthly General Ledger reconciliations;
Responsible for the preparation of Intercompany data for Actual, Plan and Forecast reporting;
Assist with the reporting of business unit financial results of all four businesses;
Assist with the preparation of financial statements for Homemirus and three other associated businesses in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia;
Provide assistance to queries/requests from suppliers and customers – local and overseas
in relation to accounts and related matters;
Inventory control
Duties:
Monthly reporting BAS, especially GST claim and duty charge
Detailed forecasting and budget preparation;
Management of product costing and stocktaking on regular basis;
Preparation of financial reports;
P&L and balance sheet analysis;
Perform complex reconciliations;
Payroll and associated tasks for 30+ staff

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, may be substituted with at least five-year relevant work experience;
Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role is required;
Able to communicate in Mandarin and English verbally and orally;
Must pay a high attention to detail and have an ability to resolve accounting related issues
