The role supports a busy clubhouse and restaurant environment, catering to members, visitors, golf tournaments, and private functions. The Chef plays a key role in maintaining food quality, safety, and efficiency while contributing to menu execution and overall kitchen performance.

Task & responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with approved menus, recipes, and presentation standards.
- Plan and organise daily food preparation to meet restaurant service and event requirements.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and storage of food supplies.
- Minimise food wastage and support effective cost control within the kitchen.
- Assist with menu development and seasonal menu updates as required.
- Supervise and support kitchen hands and junior staff during service periods.
- Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean, safe, and operational.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff and management to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
Qualification & experience
- Minimum Diploma level qualification or higher is required to perform the tasks
- At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience as a Chef
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance standards
- Commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction
- Australian PR/Citizens will be preferred and encouraged to apply for the role.
