Client Information:

• New role in a global business which focuses on technology and consumer driven business lines. You would be joining an established legal team and reporting to the GC (based in Australia).
• Commercial & Corporate 70%
• Regulation 20%
• Projects 10%

The Role:

• You will support the ANZ technology and digital teams with ongoing transactional support and commercial advice
• Commercial work includes drafting, negotiation and closing of complex commercial agreements such as SaaS, Marketing Projects and Sales
• As a lead counsel, you will work with various stakeholders to ensure technology regulation is part of every transaction

The requirements:

• 6-12 PQE
• Stable background, international law firm trained and ideally with some exposure to In-House (not essential if working in an IT/IP law firm seat)
• Strong background in IT/IP led legal work should include exposure to SaaS, general technology agreements and exposure to regulatory requirements
• People manager and ability to work for a global matrix MNC environment - essential
