Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic (1st - 4th Year)

Our valued client is seeking 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanics to join their busy workshop. Specialising in service and maintenance on vehicles both new and old.  This role would suit an apprentice with a high mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in pursuing a long term career in the automotive industry. Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply particularly anyone with a passion for cars and has grown up working on their own project cars etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Carrying out service work on a variety of makes and models of light vehicles.

• Workshop maintenance and cleaning

• Customer Service/interactions

Position Requirements

• MUST have a manual drivers license and reliable transport

• MUST reside in Cairns area

• Punctual and reliable

• Not afraid to get your hands dirty and put in a solid days work

• Motivated to succeed in the trade

• Ability to follow instruction

• Have high mechanical aptitude and a passion for mechanical work

• Physically fit and healthy
