The Role
Commercial Division is seeking to fill multiple APS 4 Commercial Policy and Procurement Complaints positions within the Division. These positions will be required to have or the ability to quickly gain, an understanding of procurement, contracting and policy in a Government environment.

The role(s) in Commercial Division, you will be required to:

• assist your team in providing commercial acumen and contributing to meeting the objectives of Defence’s mission and purpose
• first level of support for the central Defence procurement inbox; data and reporting coordination
• Administer and organise your own workflow, making decision within defined parameters relating to work area of responsibility and work under limited guidance
• communicate with a range of stakeholders on moderately complex operational and administrative issues to achieve outcomes
• work collaboratively within a team and be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
