We are seeking applications for a highly capable and values-driven dental health professional to join our dynamic team at Dental Health Services (DHS) team.

This is for a Permanent Full Time appointment.

What is our Area Dental Officer role?

This position directs and controls the operations of the School Dental Service in the area; provides routine and advanced clinical treatment to enrolled patients.

The School Dental Service (SDS) is a public health programme and provides free general dental care to students who attend a Western Australian Department of Education recognised school aged 5 to 16 years or until the end of year 11. The SDS is delivered state wide through fixed and mobile Dental Therapy Centres (DTC) co-located with some schools.

About Dental Health Services (DHS)

DHS is part of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) and is the largest public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a current health care card or pension concession card, Subsidy Schemes and Special Dental Services.
