We currently have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established thriving Water Infrastructure team due to a strong pipeline of projects!
The current opportunity is based in Brisbane however, you will be joining a truly connected ANZ Water Solutions business who provide the full suite of consulting services from advisory and engineering through to operations and asset management.
The Jacobs water business has water infrastructure and water resources capability in every major city around Australia working across a multitude of markets such as Utilities, Government, Transport, Resources, and Energy Transitioning to name a few. Our water business in Brisbane is made up of a water infrastructure section and a water resources section.
Our Water Infrastructure team in includes civil, structural, mechanical, process, electrical, and instrumentation and control engineers, at all levels of career development. This cohesive team allows us to deliver entire major projects within our water group. The depth of team provides opportunities for mentoring, support and peer-to-peer challenge.
As an Associate Water Consultant you will be responsible for all elements of consulting services within your areas, this includes building and developing relationships with key members of focus client organisations, contributing to and leading sales activities including proactive sales activities and tenders, leading projects as project manager, and contributing to the development of junior staff in our section.
The role will be highly client facing and you will be expected to use your initiative to identify opportunities and develop and then execute strategies to pursue these considering client needs, alignment to Jacobs strategy, and commercial interests.

Maintain compliance with Jacobs QA procedures, including the deliverables review QA process.
Facilitate the develop development of more junior resources to meet their career goals and market requirements.
Engage with high performers in a team environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching.
Promote safety and sustainability culture within the organisation and with our clients.
You will support your division to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography and cross-business unit relationships in order to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people.
