Auto Electrician | FIFO

Location: FIFO ex-Perth to WA Mine Site
Rate: $80 - $85.00 per hour + superannuation on all hours
Roster: 2:1 FIFO

Join one of WA's largest mining haulage contractors to help manage their fleets. With a focus on safety, quality, and reliable performance, the company is now looking for 2 experienced Auto Electricians to join their fully equipped mine site workshop.

This is a FIFO role ex-Perth, working on a range of light and heavy vehicles critical to mining operations. You’ll be part of a professional maintenance team supporting the electrical integrity of the site fleet.

About the Role:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on electrical systems across LV and HV mining vehicles

• Troubleshoot complex auto-electrical issues, including lighting, starting, charging, telemetry, and air-conditioning systems

• Install and maintain mine-spec accessories including two-way radios, GPS, lighting towers, safety systems, etc.

• Carry out scheduled electrical maintenance and breakdown support

• Work closely with mechanical fitters and supervisors to keep fleet availability high

• Maintain accurate job records and complete all safety documentation

What You’ll Need:

• Australian-recognised trade qualification – Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology

• Experience working on mine-spec LV and/or HV equipment (Hilux, LandCruiser, Kenworth, CAT, etc.)

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability across 12v/24v/36v systems

• Air-con licence (preferred)

• Manual C Class driver’s licence (HR highly regarded)

• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and DAS

• Safety-first mindset and a team player attitude
