Your role
As an Aviation Survival Equipment Technician in the Air Force, you’ll have the vital responsibility of fitting and maintaining life support and survival equipment in state-of-the-art military aircraft, such as the F-35A Lightning II, E/A-18G Growler and F/A-18F Super Hornet. You’ll also train pilots and aircrew to correctly use the equipment, ensuring their safety during Air Force missions, operations, and exercises.

Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $83,610.
Location
Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.
