Established in 1885, The Wickham is undoubtedly one of Brisbane's most iconic venues, and now this much-loved venue is getting a REFRESH!!

The Wickham has actively supported the LGBTQIA+ community since the 1970s and is proud to be the home of Big Gay Day, Brisbane's largest LGBTQIA+ festival, raising funds for the community. This heritage-listed venue prides itself on creating a fun, safe and inclusive space for all patrons. The Wickham is getting a $1.5 million re-vamp to breathe new life into the historic venue. We will transform the ground floor bar, beer garden and second floor. The renovation will modernise the spaces, with dedicated zones for socialising, casual dining, group gatherings and events, and dancing. We will also deliver a new menu, which will include woodfired pizzas, fresh bar snacks and late-night bites with ample vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options

And with our expansion and refresh, we will need some fresh faces to join the team and use your brilliant customer service skills and incredible positive vibes to bring the best experience to our customers possible. We are hiring a range of Front of House Roles across all levels of experience, including:

• Supervisors
• Bartenders and Bistro Staff
• Food Runners/Glassies/ Kitchen Hands – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Have a love for hospitality and entertainment
• Must be available at weekends and late-night finishes
• Enjoys working with others in a team environment whilst leading from the front
