The Opportunity
  
Come and join this successful Electronic Security Industry and be responsible for driving new business across QLD in sectors such as Government, Banking, Infrastructure, Retail and more! 
  
You will be joining a team of highly motivated professionals who operate in an environment of trust and respect. That is truly dominating the industry and expanding rapidly and dealing with key high profile customers and projects. They pride themselves on customer satisfaction and will go above and beyond to ensure the customer has everything they need. 
  
You’ll be a part of a close knit sales team who encourage each other to succeed and grow and will report into a leader who values people and understands that it’s the people within a business that create its success.  This is a newly created role due to growth and expansion plans within the business and they are looking to grow their already impressive market share. 
  
We are looking for a sharp, self-starter who can work autonomously & as part of a team and has the ability to generate new business and excels at building trust with clients and selling essential security solutions. 

The Role 
  

  • Develop & execute business development strategies in line with company strategy
  • Develop strong relationships with customers & provide second to none service 
  • Effectively Communicate the company’s solutions & value proposition to potential customers
  • Grow & manage a pipeline of high value opportunities
  • Strong Collaboration with the Leadership to determine strategic objectives 
  • Regularly visit prospective clients around Sydney (& wider QLD as needed)
  • Engage with prospects to forge strong relationships and drive sales opportunities 
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate and influence Senior Executives & Technical stakeholders 
  • Work strategically with your clients; help them solve problems and take advantage of opportunities
  • Use strong listening skills and consultative selling approach to undercover pain points and solve business problems 
  • Create meaningful client relationships built on an in-depth understanding of their needs and challenges
  • Maximise opportunities to add value by upselling solutions 
  • Identifying industry trends and developing potential opportunities for business growth
  • Keep updated knowledge of company products and services
  • Focus on improving buyer experience
  
  
About You
  
  • Extensive Sales Experience with proven track record of success in developing new business 
  • Industry experience relevant to Electronic Security, CCTV, Security Networking Solutions, Access Control, Alarms & Analytics
  • Strong networks that you can tap into 
  • Ability to build rapport & consult with people from all walks of life 
  • Ability to grow and foster trusted relationships with clients 
  • Strong Negotiation skills - experience with contracts & tenders 
  • Self starter with strong drive to impact the business  
  • Trustworthy nature with strong set of internal values that determine how you do business 
  • Valid Australian Drivers licence 
  • Strong team player attitude 
  • Enthusiasm for growing your career in a business that is going places! 
  • Passion for Solutions based sales approach
  • Previous demonstration of sales success and achieving targets
