• Expected salary: $25 - $45 per hour

We are seeking a boilermaker/welder to expand our small team with a view to a genuine long-term full-time position. The successful applicant will be well supported and get to work in a clean workshop. 

Qualifications & requirements

• Australian recognised trade certificate

• Sound experience working with FCAW, GMAW, SMAW

• Able to read and interpret workshop and engineering drawings.

• Able to work on their own or as part of a team

• Bodybuilding experience is beneficial.

• Forklift licence is an advantage.

• Working at heights and confined space entry is an advantage.

• Tig & stainless welding experience - desired (not essential)

• D & A screen - Pre-employment declaration

• Boilermakers in 3rd or 4th years are encouraged to apply

Tasks & responsibilities

• Fabrication and installation of service trucks.

• Fabrication of water trucks and accessories.

• Modification of vehicle chassis.

• General fabrication.

• Structural fabrication.

• Use of modern equipment including press and guillotine.

• Stainless and aluminium welding.

• On-site work whereas required.
