Bricklayer

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Bricklayer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of bricklaying and blocklaying and take pride in producing high-quality work on a variety of residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry to build and repair structures.
• Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Measure and cut materials to the required size.
• Mix mortar and ensure proper consistency and application.
• Construct walls, partitions, arches, and other brickwork structures.
• Repair and replace damaged bricks or masonry.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and construction standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in bricklaying or masonry work.
• Sound knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work full-time (38 hours per week).
• Legal work rights in Australia.
• Ability to meet occupational health and safety requirements on-site.
