We are a growing company seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Carpenter to join our dynamic team. As a Carpenter at Gullwing Property, you will play a critical role in constructing and installing formwork and timber structures across various projects. Salary Range: $76,550 - $90,000 plus Superannuation

Task & responsibilities

• Interpret and analyse construction plans and specifications, including dimensions, materials, and installation methods
• Measure, mark, and prepare accurate layouts to ensure precise alignment and level structures across residential and commercial builds
• Select, cut, shape, and assemble high-quality timber, plywood, and other materials for formwork, frameworks, walls, partitions, floors, and roofing structures
• Construct and install formwork systems, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to design specifications
• Install doors, windows, frames, skirting boards, cabinetry components, and other internal and external fixtures as required for finishing stages
• Collaborate with other trades (e.g., steel fixers, concreters, electricians, plumbers) to ensure seamless project delivery and efficient workflow on-site
• Inspect completed carpentry work and formwork installations to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
• Perform repair, maintenance, and modification of existing structures, including refurbishments and rectifications on residential and commercial sites
• Erect temporary supports, scaffolding, and safety barriers as needed to maintain a secure work environment
• Maintain and operate carpentry tools and equipment, ensuring all items are in safe, serviceable condition
• Strictly adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and company policies, actively contributing to a safe and productive team culture

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III and/or proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably within the formwork 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of construction materials and installation procedures
• Familiarity with safety standards and building codes
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
