Ozdelux Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Joiner to join our team. Responsibilities include constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood and other materials. Task & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Following blueprints, drawings, and sketches to meet the needs of clients.
Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.
Cutting, shaping, and smoothing wood, plastic, and other materials according to measurements.
Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, moulding, walls, floors, and doorframes.
Repairing and maintaining existing structures and products
Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials depending on project needs
Communicating with clients and creating design plans for remodelling projects

Skills:

Trade qualification as a Carpenter/ Joiner
Proven experience as a Carpenter working on projects.
Able to read plans.
Able to work alone as well as with a team.
Experience working with panel saws, drop saws, edge banding machines and general tools.
Experience working with hardwood, timber. Laminate products as well as sheet materials.
You will also be required to assemble cabinets and joinery items and use factory machinery.

Qualification & Experience

Knowledge in joinery construction methods.
Must be willing to be trained to high finishing standards.
Exemplary workmanship with an unwavering attention to detail.
Skilled in high-end joinery detail work.
Strong decision-making, analytical, and organizational abilities.
Capable of independent work and unsupervised operation of static wood machinery.
Able to comprehend shop drawings and cutting lists.
Skilled in working with solid timber, timber veneers, and prefinished materials.
Effective communication skills.
Adept at collaborating within a team environment.
Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
