Location: Berkeley Vale, Central coast, NSW

Job Description: As a Childcare educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for children in our company childcare facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of the children under your supervision. Your duties will include:

• Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.

• Implementing and conducting activities from the curriculum.

• Responding promptly and appropriately to children's needs and behaviour.

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and cleaning up throughout the day.

• Assisting with meal times, snacks, and nap times.

• Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's activities and well-being.

• Caring for children aged 0-5 during the school term and children aged 5-12 during school holidays.

Hours:

The current availability is 16 hours per week. However, we are working to expand our capacity, and there will be opportunities for additional hours in the near future.

Additional hours are available during school holidays through our Holiday Care program, approximately 40 hours per week.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Certificate III Early Childhood Education & Care

• First Aid

• Working With Children Check
