Description

As Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), reporting directly to the CEO. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy, drive scalable growth and influence the future direction of the business. Your remit will encompass ownership of the financial strategy and operations, contributing to both day-to-day management and long-term vision. You will also play a pivotal role in enabling ongoing expansion through acquisitions and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and financial guidance to support ambitious growth objectives.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Build, mentor, and lead the Finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Partner with the CEO, Board, and ELT to identify risks and opportunities, enabling strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate a strong partnership between the finance and commercial functions to drive organic growth.
  • Develop and embed a robust financial and business performance framework, driving accountability and sustainable growth.
  • Oversee financial due diligence and integration execution of M&A workstreams.
  • Implement financial systems to standardise processes, enhance visibility, and support scaling a distributed business model.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including investors and advisors, to support growth initiatives.

Profile

A CPA/CA-qualified financial leader with a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence in dynamic environments, particularly within private equity or growth equity-backed businesses. You will have expertise in managing investor expectations, financial reporting, executing M&A strategies, including roll-ups and post-acquisition integration. With experience operating in distributed business models you will be skilled in implementing ERP and financial systems to enhance scalability and decision-making. Your financial expertise will include budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, with the ability to align financial objectives with business strategy. A strong leader and business partner, you will have the ability to engage with Boards, Equity Investors, and Executive teams, driving outcomes through collaboration and change management. Thriving in high-growth environments, you will leverage data-driven insights and strategic thinking to support business success.
