Chef

As a Full-Time Chef at Rosebank North, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting contemporary Australian cuisine, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with management to update seasonal menus, oversee kitchen operations, and maintain hygiene and safety standards. Your creativity and culinary expertise will play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests.

 Task & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the set menu and seasonal changes.
• Ensure consistent presentation, quality, and portion control of all dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen in compliance with food safety guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory control.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff as required, ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations.
• Develop new menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef and management.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and used safely.

Qualification & Experience

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 years full-time experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts.
