What’s the gig? We are looking for a Chef who is professional, knowledgeable and passionate about food. This is a permanent part-time position, offering up to 37 hours per week. Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:

• Be part of an experienced team consistently creating delicious and top-quality meals
• Refresh and replenish menu items during trade.
• Learning is very important for growth! You must be able to assist with the training of staff including any apprentices and trainees.
• We hate waste! You must maintain consistent portion control to minimise waste at all times.
• And of course - follow correct hygienic food handling practices.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified chef.
• Relevant trade qualifications.
• Experience in functions/events preferable but not necessary.
• Multi-tasking abilities reflecting efficient organisational skills.
• Understanding and the ability to maintain the highest level of customer service.
• Punctual, reliable, dependable and self-motivated.
• Good communication skills.
• Availability across 7 days with flexible hours, including public holidays.
