TOAST EDEN is seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at our popular South Coast Cafe. As Chef, you will be responsible for following recipes and procedures and using your own creativity and experience to create delicious dishes in the signature Toast Cafe style. You will be in charge of maintaining high food quality standards and managing kitchen operations.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes
- Create menus and new dishes and manage costings
- Train and manage kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Manage kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness
- Monitor inventory, budget, food costings, and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new dishes
- Collaborate with Front of House staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications & experience
- 3 years' experience in a similar role
- A relevant cookery or culinary qualification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Due to the significant growth of the cafe in its first year, the cafe requires a Chef to work with the management team on developing the fresh, contemporary menu, and establishing Toast Eden as the town's premier food and beverage experience.
