They ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation while managing kitchen operations. Chefs may lead the team and innovate recipes, while Cooks focus on daily meal preparations. Benefits

Salary: $70k - $80k per annum plus superannuation

Task & Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES OF CHEF:

• Plan, prepare, and cook meals in dining or catering establishments.
• Develop menus, estimate costs, and manage food inventory.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
• Lead kitchen teams, train staff, and demonstrate cooking techniques 
• Work in high-pressure environments to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Innovate recipes and ensure organized kitchen operations

RESPONSIBILITIES OF COOK:

• Execute daily meal preparations under guidance.
• Plan, prepare, and cook meals in dining or catering establishments.
• Work in high-pressure environments to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Qualification & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience, ideally more, in a comparable industry.
• A Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Strong time management skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities.
