Tasks & responsibilities
- Assessing construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Managing procurement activities for the designated work area.
- Design and oversee projects
- Conduct site visits and inspections
- Prepare engineering reports and documentation
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients
- Ensure projects adhere to safety regulations and standards
- Preparation of construction documentation and specifications.
- Construction support including response to RFIs and attending meetings.
- Scoping of projects.
- Project Engineering and Project Management activities.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering
- Previous exposure to the design of earthworks, drainage systems and infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and techniques.
- Strong Microsoft Office Word and Excel skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in using or have had exposure to CAD, AutoCAD, Primavera or other drafting software
