About the Role:

Purpose: Provide responsive and proactive claims management services for RACQ members and third parties during critical weather events.

Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by addressing inquiries, processing claims, and resolving complaints.

Communication: Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, offering accurate information and building trust with customers.

Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Contract: Estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension or permanency.

Salary: Competitive pay of $35.88/hour + superannuation.

Training: Comprehensive 8 week training program (in-office, 8 am – 4 pm during training).

Location: Convenient location at Eight Mile Plains.

Hybrid Work: Once training is completed, transition to a hybrid model (up to 3 months after training) – 4 days working from home, 1 day in-office.

About You:
- Previous contact centre experience is desired.
- Experience in claims management or case management is a plus.

Insurance experience is beneficial but not required.
- Knowledge of the claims process is a bonus.
- Passion for supporting the community during challenging times.
- Committed to contributing to Queensland’s resilience during weather events.
- Able to work on a Mon-Sun 7am - 7pm rotating roster.
- Ready to join a temporary workforce and contribute to established claims teams.
- Willing to learn and adapt in an evolving insurance space.
