Client Services Manager - Taxation / Advisory

The Role

An exciting management opportunity has become available to support the business, the team and their clients. This position will be involved in providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of clients, including high net wealth individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and Self-Managed Superfunds. The role will expose the successful candidate to numerous clients across a broad range of industries with a strong compliance and tax focus. You will also mange a team of 4 locally based Accountants, and 3 off-shore reports.

Day to Day

As a management Tax Accountant professional, you will have a diverse range of general skills, but a key focus on:

• Excellent people skills and able to lead, develop and mentor a team of accounting professionals

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients

• Preparation of comprehensive financial statements

• Preparation of income tax returns and advice

• Preparation of BAS and other general accounting tasks

• Liaising with ATO

Skills needed.

• Previous experience as a Tax Accountant

• Previous experience leading & developing a small team

• Qualified CA / CPA

• Strong interpersonal & client service skills

• Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and MS Excel

• Efficient utilisation of ATO Portal
