  • Base Salary $121,508 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

This role is based at the Kolling Institute located in the Northern Sydney (Arabanoo) Precinct and at the Susan Wakil Health Building located in Camperdown, both part of the University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health.

The University of Sydney is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Project Manager to work on a newly-funded multicentre, adaptive, randomised-controlled trial within the osteoarthritis clinical research group.

Your key responsibilities are to:

  • manage trial set-up, conduct and close-out
  • oversee a complex, multicentre clinical trial in an organised and timely manner
  • work with clinical lead/s, stakeholders and collaborators to successfully deliver clinical trial projects
  • provide supportive and effective project leadership including contract and budget management, and manage members of the clinical trial operations team
  • undertake ad-hoc projects, activities, or tasks under the guidance of the Clinical Trial Program Lead and Clinical Lead

About you

  • tertiary qualifications in related science or health care discipline with equivalent experience
  • previous project management experience working on clinical projects
  • strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • ability to provide effective leadership and people management of clinical trial team
  • stakeholder management skills and develop and maintain good working relationships
