About the role

Transco Mfg Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time CNC Lathe Metal Machinist to join their team in Lonsdale, South Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metal parts and components to specification.

What you'll be doing

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce a variety of metal parts and components

• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to manufacture parts to specification

• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on CNC lathes to ensure optimal performance

• Monitor the production process and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency

• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and find solutions

• Maintain detailed records of production activities and quality control measures

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a CNC Lathe Metal Machinist

• Proven experience in CNC lathe and mill operations and metal machining

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Good communication and documentation skill
