CNC Machinist

Job Title: Full-Time Machinist (Fanuc CNC Milling Experience)
Location: Geebung, Brisbane
Employment Type: Full-Time, 5-day work week 
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (experience dependent)

About the Role:

ALH Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Machinist with experience in Fanuc CNC Milling to join a long-standing and stable client based in Geebung. You’ll play a vital role in operating and maintaining CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality control across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Milling machines and lathes.
• Modify existing CNC programs and create new programs as required using Fanuc 2D programming.
• Conduct quality control to ensure components are machined accurately and fit for purpose.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accuracy in machining.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and organised workshop.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and production goals.

Experience & Qualifications:
Required:

• 2-3 years of experience in an engineering environment or similar role.
• Proven experience with CNC Milling Machines or CNC lathe operations.
• Demonstrated experience in 2D programming using Fanuc systems.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve effectively.
• Trade qualification in Engineering (minimum Cert III).

Essential:

• Previous experience with Fanuc systems.
