Colour Matcher

As a Colour Matcher based at our Welshpool Store in Perth, you will provide professional services to PPG customers, assisting with the mixing and formulation of paints to fulfill customer orders. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a full-time role working 38 hours from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Mix and tint/ eye match colours to formulas, as per customer orders.

• Paint mixing and tinting as per formulations.

• Complete the number of tints, on time following PPG processes.

• Maintain records of products used in the production of mixed colours.

• Low-level colour matching.

• Compliance with all PPG policies and EH&S procedures.

• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar colour matching/tinter role.

• Knowledge of colour mixing practices.

• Demonstrated colour-matching skills.

• Demonstrated knowledge of paint and consumable products.

• Ability to work with formulas.

• Valid forklift license would be highly regarded but not essential.

• Permanent Working Rights in Australia is a must.
