What this opportunity involves: 

Are you a customer service-oriented professional with a passion for creating exceptional experiences? We are seeking a Concierge to join our team at Melbourne Quarter Tower. Reporting to the Customer Relationship Manager and working closely with various stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding services to our customers and visitors.

An overview of the role:  

  • Welcome all customers and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.

  • Provide assistance and directions based on customer inquiries.

  • Maintain the Front of House areas, ensuring they are presentable at all times.

  • Offer information and assistance with local amenities and services.

  • Provide VIP Meet and Greet services, escorting customers and visitors to elevators and escalators.

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and excellent customer service when handling inquiries over the phone or email.

  • Promote retail tenancies within and around the building.

  • Support community engagement events and initiatives.

  • Provide hotel-style concierge and lifestyle services, including transport arrangements, restaurant bookings, event bookings, and conference room facilities (if applicable).

  • Act as a host or co-host for community engagement events and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the CRM to continuously enhance the customer experience.

  • Attend building events, meetings, and training sessions as required.

  • Adhere to building safety policies, including emergency procedures.

  • Assist team members with day-to-day property management tasks.

  • Handle other reasonable requests and tasks that contribute to achieving team objectives.

  • Prior customer service experience is essential.

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.

  • Desired: Floor Fire Warden experience or willingness to be trained.

  • Desired: Ability to speak a language other than English, but not essential.

  • Desired: Certificate Level in Hospitality/Business, but not essential.

  • Desired: First Aid Officer certification or willingness to be trained.
