Construction Planner
As a Construction Planner, you will be an integral part of our project management team, responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining project schedules. Your work will ensure that our construction projects run efficiently on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers for accurate monthly project status reports and implement a new reporting system, including site visits to ongoing Sydney projects.
- Ensure construction data reflects project progress through on-site engagement.
- Contribute to tender programmes and methodologies and development and provide strategic guidance during submissions.
- Deliver compelling client presentations.
- Stay updated on construction techniques for project integration and optimize construction efficiency through detailed building sequence markups.
- Incorporate best construction techniques into tenders and drawings.
- Develop logical program sequences and validate durations with input from subcontractors and bid team.
- Transform tender programs into contract versions, ensuring compliance with contractual conditions.
- Implement monthly reporting protocols, provide training, and maintain accurate reports.
- Create precise construction programs, collaborate with site teams, and monitor on-site activities.
- Adhere to quality procedures, maintain uniformity in project calendars and program appearances.
- Fulfill head contract obligations and effectively manage client relationships.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project team members.
Requirements: - Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven construction planning experience and method engineer
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and planning principles.
- Proficiency in planning software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities.
