Tasty Kitchen is seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our vibrant team at our Geelong restaurant. As a Cook, you will play a key role in preparing authentic and flavorful dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and taste.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing menu items to a high standard, assisting in daily kitchen operations, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety protocols. If you are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional food, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes as per menu specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and assist in supervising junior staff to maintain smooth workflow.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage food supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Ensure all meals are plated and served with care, maintaining presentation and temperature standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and smooth service.
• Implement waste-reduction strategies and assist in controlling food costs.

About You:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Cook.
• Proficient in preparing a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori specialties, and traditional breads.
