About the opportunity:

Contribute positively to the community by leading our day-program operations, empowering our customers, and emphasising practice leadership to our staff team, fostering open communication and a culture of cohesion.

We offer a permanent coordinator position with a $41.67/hr pay rate, superannuation, and salary packaging.

Role Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in social science, health, or any other relevant professional field is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a team of workers successfully
  • Demonstrated ability in budget preparation and monitoring financial systems
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong interpersonal, assessment and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy, in particular proficiency with Microsoft programs and the use of customer management systems

Typical duties might include:

  • Coordinating Day-programs.
  • Delivering on program outcomes and customer goals.
  • Prioritising and meeting the competing needs of our customers and team of staff.
  • Nurturing and retaining relationships with customers, families, and your team.
  • Identifying, assessing, and resolving problems using an active person-centred approach
  • Proactively training the team to ensure the highest standard of customer outcomes.
  • Reviewing and updating rosters, supporting Policy and Procedure compliance, and reporting requirements

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Valid working rights.
  • A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
  • NSW Working with Children Checks NSW.
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Health Assessment
