Factory Blinds is a long established, locally owned, manufacturing retailer of window furnishings and is located in Launceston, Tasmania, and we currently have a vacancy for a curtain maker.

At our workroom located in Prospect, we make, supply and install sheer curtains, drapes, roller blinds, patio blinds and a range of other window furnishings made to suit the customer's specific requirements.

Our preference would be for an experienced curtain maker but we would also strongly consider an applicant from other commercial sewing industries such as dress making, embroidering, upholstery etc. or we would also consider a trainee with not much experience but has a passion for this type of work.

Our regular working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm but we are flexible. If you are limited by time then we can most likely work with you to make it a win, win situation for us both.

Pay rate is determined by the FWA manufacturing award award, MA000010, taking into consideration your level of experience and ability.
