Our client, based in Welshpool is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join their team.
Start: ASAP
Hours: 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday
Duration: Ongoing - could become permanent for the right candidate
Location: Welshpool
Pay Rate: $35.00 p/h + Super - depending on experience
Respond to inbound sales calls and some counter sales requirements as well as completing quotes and offering various sales solutions to meet internal and external customer needs. Qualifying all enquiries so that our best offering to the customer is being made in the pursuit of effective customer service and to achieving sales and margin growth.
Customer Service
Handle counter sales requirements and strive for a first point of call resolution and total customer satisfaction.Identify and assess customer requirements by qualifying what their requirements are based on your increased understanding of the product rangeFollow up potential sales opportunities and quotes and pass these leads onto the external BDM teamEnter customer orders within ASW and print the orders in a timely manner.Identify and assess customer requirements to ascertain the potential of future sales or cross-selling opportunities. (up sell)Ensure that delivery expectations are met and manage all overdue orders as a priority.Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained by ensuring customer complaints and credits are followed up and satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and the company.Actively participates and complete training initiatives.Undertakes other duties as requested by managers, supervisors and team leaders.

Participates in the safety agenda by ensuring self and peers understand, adhere to, and work towards meeting their HSE Responsibilities as advised in the GetSAFE 3.1 HSE Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Authorities StandardDemonstrate commitment to safety by ensuring that no safety problem is ignoredEnsure that all Identified hazards, near misses and incidents are entered in MYosh immediatelyContribute to the culture where all employees participate effectively in formal and informal workplace HSE activities, inspections, discussions etcContribute to the 100% completion of your area HSE plan
Skills & Experience You Will Have
Internal Customer Service experience, Industrial Supply or Trade understanding is an advantage.Telephony & Windows PC knowledgeIndustrial Sales experienceTechnical product knowledge preferableExcellent communication SkillsProactive Approach to Problem SolvingWorks well within a TeamMotivated to provide Exceptional Service OutcomesFriendly & Customer centricStrong commercial acumen.Self-motivated and disciplined.Team playerProven ability to analyse and solve complex problemsConfident negotiator, influencer and communicator.
