Your Opportunity As a Data Analyst at WeMoney, you’ll be the vital link between raw data and informed decisions. Leveraging our frontier performance data environment, you’ll dig into user behaviours, market trends, and product performance to deliver insights that shape our financial wellness platform. Your analyses will power supply-demand optimisations, hyper-personalisation features, and product enhancements—always with an unwavering focus on data integrity and member outcomes. What You’ll Do Translate Data into InsightsDive into data from multiple sources (event streams, transaction logs, user interactions) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Craft compelling dashboards and visualisations that highlight key KPIs and potential action points.Collaborate on Product & StrategyPartner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Design teams to frame analytics questions and validate hypotheses around user flows and financial outcomes.Offer data-backed recommendations on how to improve our products, features, and overall member experience.Enhance Personalisation & EngagementAnalyse user behaviour to support hyper-personalised financial guidance—aligning the right recommendations with the right people.Provide insights on user segmentation, engagement patterns, and conversion funnels to drive growth.Ensure Data Quality & ComplianceWork closely with Data Engineering to maintain clean, reliable data, ensuring compliance with CDR regulations and industry best practices.Validate new data sources and transformations, emphasising consistent data standards that safeguard user privacy.Streamline Supply-Demand EfficienciesExplore matching algorithms and user patterns, revealing how our platform connects members to the best financial products or advice.Collaborate on test designs and AB experiments to optimise adoption and satisfy both user demand and partner supply.Communicate Findings & ImpactPresent insights and proposals to cross-functional stakeholders, helping them see the “why” behind the data.Translate complex metrics into actionable language that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.Foster Continuous ImprovementRefine analytics methodologies, adopt new tools, and spot emerging trends in data science.Contribute to building an analytics-driven mindset across the organisation. What we’re looking for Analytical Expertise3+ years in data analytics or a related role, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or consumer apps.Strong hands-on experience with SQL, BI/visualisation tools (QuickSight), and Python or R for deeper analysis.Data Storytelling SkillsAdept at communicating complex information through clear data visualisations and dashboards.Ability to craft compelling narratives that inform strategic decisions and product roadmaps.Statistical & Experimental RigorSkilled in designing and analysing A/B tests, cohort studies, or segmentation analyses.Familiarity with hypothesis testing, regression, or predictive modelling a plus.Regulatory & Compliance AwarenessUnderstanding of CDR requirements, data privacy laws, or similar frameworks—especially important in regulated fintech environments.Proven track record of handling sensitive data responsibly and securely.Problem-Solving & CuriosityComfortable diving into unknown datasets to spot trends or anomalies, with a passion for uncovering root causes.Enthusiastic about working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to drive user-centric innovation.Mission-Driven FocusMotivated by the chance to make a medical-like impact on people’s financial well-being—using data as a tool for prevention and empowerment.Eager to see your analytical work directly influence better financial outcomes for Australians.
