Design Construction Manager - Property Developer

Property Developer growing their Development, Design and Project Management team across the Aged care and Retirement/Assisted living. Joining an experienced Design Management team, the Head of Design seeks a Design Manager to work drive construction success with multiple projects at Construction stage. Throughout the life of construction, this DM will be managing the external consultant procurement, and relationships ensuring design and delivery of projects at site, with regular site visits around Melbourne and regionally. This Individual will come from Design Management Construction background, 10-15 years experience. This role will focus on projects at construction mostly however experience with an overview of design and delivery from the Developer perspective will be utilised across other projects in early stages. Typically, a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a similar business or onsimilar projects including experience in;Local residential projects at construction stageComplex building or apartment high-rise projectsLeading and administering projectsManaging design teamsSite observationValue managementDesign and build experiencePresentation documentation skillsWorking knowledge of the Australian Building CodeProven technical ability to oversee the production of effective constructionand building permit documentationAbility to lead consultants Team orientated, and collaborative work ethic required to join this team in grow out mode.Please ensure cv has project scale/value and stages responsible for.
