About the role
Innovate Transport is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Driver to join our team in Marsden Park, NSW. This full-time position will see you play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy vehicles, while also operating these vehicles to support our transport operations.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components of commercial vehicles
2Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on our fleet of trucks and trailers
Test and inspect vehicles to identify and address any issues
Operate a range of commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials as required
Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance work performed
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our transport services
What we're looking for
Diesel mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' experience working on heavy vehicles
Hold a current Heavy Vehicle Driver's License (HR or HC preferred)
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, and vehicle diagnostics
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
