About the role

• Team Global Express is seeking a HC Driver to commence immediately at our Innisfail Location
• This is a Full Time Permanent role
• Overtime is available and will be offered on a need by need basis
• Weekend Work is also available with this role and will be offered on a need by need basis
• You must hold a current HC licence (or higher). You must also be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Heavy Vehicles
• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames
• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required
• Experience operating Prime Movers and trailers with ambient & temperature-controlled freight
• Loading and unloading pallets as required - some pallet jack use will be necessary
• Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
• Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks

What you’ll bring

• You will hold a Current & Valid HC License or Higher
• You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously
• You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner
• You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
• You must have a high attention towards Safety
