Early Childhood Educator

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team at Edge Hill Early Learning in Edge Hill, QLD. As a casual Early Childhood Educator, you will be on call, flexible hours and able to work from 7.30am to 5.30pm. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 15 mths-5 years old. You will be an integral part of our close-knit community and contribute to the overall success of our early learning centre.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that support children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development

• Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow

• Forming strong, positive relationships with children and their families

• Observing and documenting children's progress and development

• Collaborating with the teaching team to ensure the delivery of exceptional childcare services

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised learning environment

• Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies

What we're looking for

• A relevant diploma or studying towards in Early Childhood Education or a related field

• Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a long day care

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families

• A passionate, patient and nurturing approach to childcare

• A current First Aid certificate and Working with Children Check
