We are seeking several experienced nursery room Early Childhood Educators with preferably Montessori experience to join our team at Preston Campus with potential permanent Part-Time opportunities.

Job Description:

  • Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.

  • Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.

  • Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.

  • Part-Time opportunities available

  • Preferably 5 days

 

Essential Skills and Experience: 

  • Cert III or Diploma qualification.

  • Relevant work experience is highly advantageous.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

  • Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, emergency Asthma management and Anaphylaxis training.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care.

  • Demonstrated ability to co-operatively contribute to and support a team environment and to work flexibly, both within rooms and according to the needs of the Centre.

  • A thorough knowledge of children’s development and ability to observe, plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate children’s programs.
