eCommerce Co-Ordinator
Universal Media Co is one of Australia’s largest innovative media companies with a range of popular magazines, websites, social, and video brands.
Our subscribers are very important to us and join through both the magazines and our e-commerce store making it one of our most important digital assets. If you love media, marketing and helping hundreds of customers every day you’ll excel in this role.
The two key aspects of the role are marketing and customer service. The main focus of the subscription department is to attract new subscribers and retain our existing ones, and you will deliver multiplatform retention and acquisition marketing campaigns. At the same time, each day more readers email and call us to take up subscription offers. You will be responsible for providing customer service to these readers.
This is a big role for a driven individual who loves marketing, helping people, meeting targets and the detail involved with administration.
What you will do:
- Execute the renewal program for each title and track retention rates
- Provide fast, reliable and high-quality customer service to the customers calling and emailing with subscription enquiries.
- Enter orders via phone or email and process any adjustments or cancellations.
- Update the e-commerce website with new offers landing pages.
- Work closely with the subscriptions team, providing them with general support, dispatching orders and carrying out ad-hoc admin tasks.
- Assist with managing and deploying offers for each title and push them to market through all channels to acquire new subscribers
- Assist with writing and briefing attractive creative that reflects the brand and offers
What we are looking for:
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated digital skills. E-commerce and/or other experience updating websites is preferred. Shopify is a big plus.
- Experience delivering great customer service. Call center experience and/or administrative experience, especially within a similar role is an advantage.
- Experience with the SubsPlus database would be an advantage, but on-the-job training will be provided.
- You must be reliable and have good organizational skills with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment and have great attention to detail.
- You must be self-motivated and able to work well within a team as well as autonomously to achieve weekly KPIs and targets
- Strong creative and marketing eye and an understanding of digital marketing channels preferred
- You must have an adaptable and flexible work approach as priorities change
- A natural flair for sales and marketing is an advantage.
- Learn the ins and outs of our subscription software and become an expert in our subscription software to provide effective support and assistance.
- Provide troubleshooting advice to customers over the phone, assist customers in resolving issues with our services, including technical queries, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Communicate in a friendly, professional manner with a range of customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Be ready to help your teammates if needed.
