Attend and resolve breakdowns quickly and safely to minimise downtime
Execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks using the MEX system
Support plant upgrades, improvements, and automation initiatives
Troubleshoot issues across electrical or mechanical systems depending on trade
Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage parts and documentation
Comply with WHS, GMP, HACCP, and site-specific safety standards
Assist operators with fault-finding support and equipment best practices
Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety initiatives
Electrical Technician: QLD Electrical Licence + Disconnect/Reconnect
Mechanical Technician: Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
Strong background in maintenance—ideally in FMCG or food processing
Experience with automation, PLCs, conveyors, or processing lines
Ability to work to scheduled tasks and respond effectively to reactive jobs
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Strong understanding of safety practices, documentation, and compliance
Confident reading technical drawings, schematics, or manuals
EWP, Working at Heights, or Confined Space certification
HACCP/GMP knowledge
Project involvement or continuous improvement experience
