What You’ll Be Doing

• Installations & Maintenance: Carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems (training provided for those new to solar).

• Learning & Development: Work alongside seasoned solar professionals who will mentor and guide you through our processes and systems.

• Quality & Safety: Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal quality standards.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical issues on-site with support from experienced team members.

• Collaboration: Work with project managers, electricians, and apprentices to deliver seamless installations.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all work carried out for compliance and project tracking.

Who We’re Looking For

• Qualified electrician with a current electrical license (essential).

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.

• Willingness to learn new systems and technologies in the solar space.

• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• A valid driver’s license.

No Solar Experience? No Problem.

We understand that not everyone comes with solar experience — and that’s okay. At Talk Energy, we have exceptional personnel on hand to teach you the ins and outs of the industry. You’ll receive full training on how we do things, and we’re committed to funding the necessary SAA and battery qualifications to help you upskill quickly and confidently.
