TwwGlobal is a highly successful family-owned business that operates an expanding (currently eight) Totally Workwear store network across the southeast metropolitan region together with a centralised Commercial sales, Warehousing and Embroidery/Branding facility based in Welshpool.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Embroidery - Assistant Manager / 2IC to join TwwGlobal to assist oversee our Embroidery/Branding operations which continue to expand in line with our growth in B2B and retail sales.

The Assistant Embroidery Manager provides direct support to the Embroidery Manager in managing all aspects of the apparel branding process, from planning & scheduling to quality control and team management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise production staff (10), including providing ongoing training & development.
  • Assist coordinate production scheduling (including 3rd party outsourcing where appropriate), consumables and workflows to optimise productivity and minimise downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal (Retail, Commercial & Administration) and our external (Suppliers) business partners to continually enhance systems, process and procedures to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards & specifications for all embroidery & branding.

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • Industry specific (Embroidery/Branding) technical expertise is essential, including:-
  • Operation of embroidery machines (Barudan/Tajima).
  • General machine maintenance (oiling & tension adjustments).
  • Correct hooping of garments for embroidery.
  • Understanding of embroidery software (Wilcom or other)
  • Reading and interpreting embroidery job sheets.
  • Digitising and colour matching designs.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of getting the best out of a team with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Detail & task orientated with a focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Be able to multi task without compromising accuracy in a fast paced environment
