One of our Government clients is seeking to engage Enterprise Architects for Canberra location-Hybrid working Please note Candidate must have Australian Citizenship Initial contract duration-12 monthsExtension term-24 monthsLocation of work-ACTWorking arrangements-Hybrid Overview - Client is seeking business focussed results driven Enterprise Architects with skills and experience in the architecture domains - Solution, Applications, Enterprise, and Business. The Architects will join the Enterprise Architecture team that is responsible for developing and supporting the departments Digital Enabling Architecture Practice. You will have at least 5 years’ experience and a proven track record of delivering enterprise solutions in accordance with program and project goals and budgets and departmental and government strategies, roadmaps, policies, processes, frameworks, and standards. Key duties and responsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the Enterprise Architects include: Leading and specialising in one or more Enterprise Architecture domainsDeveloping and maintaining reference architectures, high level designs, policies, principles, patterns, and guardrails for use by development and operations teamsCollaborating on and developing current and future state architectures, strategies, and roadmapsUsing professional judgement, experience, and risk analysis to provide timely and documented advice on complex digital architecture design to the Executive and technical teamsAnalysing business needs, goals and drivers against current capabilities and existing systems to define the future state required to achieve business goalsLeadership and exemplary communication skills to foster a highly productive and business valued departmental architecture community, promoting collaboration, and sharing of skills and knowledgeDeveloping and presenting content to governance fora and showcasesIdentifying duplications and commonality of requirement and function across departmental initiativesDeveloping evidence-based costing proposals for NPPs, internal costings, and other processes as requiredAssisting the Chief Enterprise Architect to develop and mature the Enterprise Architecture practice Criteria 1. At least 5 years’ experience in one or more Enterprise Architecture domains: • Technical • Application • Solution • Business2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with all stakeholders including: • Describe options and pros and cons of different approaches • Provide advice and assist delivery teams to understand the architecture guardrails and provide guidance on how patterns can be applied • Engaging business and technical teams to identify issues and problems3. Demonstrated experience ensuring end-to-end system designs meet the relevant functional and non-functional requirements, and is compatible with roadmaps, reference architectures, strategies, policies, standards, patterns, guardrails, and practices, including required cyber security practices and policies.4. Experience in system analysis and design and ability to facilitate collaboration to find solutions, create original concepts and leverage existing patterns to solve complex problems. This includes presenting complex ideas clearly with options and recommendations and the ability to secure approval through the relevant governance forums.5. Experience in developing architectural artefacts for example: • Current and future state diagrams, investment and transition roadmaps • Solution Architecture Designs (conceptual, high level and detailed) • Standards, policies principles, and guardrails • Reference architecture • Business Architecture value and capability maps • Architecture advisories and strategies If you would like to apply for the above role, then please send your updated resume with Cover Letter to rahul.sharma@italliance.com.au
