ENTRY LEVEL ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR
We are currently seeking an Entry Level Electrical Estimator to join the switchboard division of SES. The successful applicant will be trained in estimating small projects initially, working their way up to multi-million dollar tenders. SES is a global manufacturer of switchboards and specialist power solutions and part of the BGW Group, a 100% Australian owned company. Specifically focused on the Construction, Mining, Oil and Gas and Data industries we have been showing ongoing growth and due to continual expansion we are looking to grow our Estimating team.
In this role you will be tasked with assisting the Estimating team with the preparation of quotes and documentation for our customer base as well as supporting our distribution network. Whilst previous estimating experience is not essential, this is a fast paced and challenging role and to be successful you will possess the following skills:
Good base knowledge of electrical concepts and ability to read single line diagrams
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills: both written and oral
Good computer skills with specific experience with MS Excel and Outlook
The ability to prioritize and schedule your work day
Organisational and analytical skills
The capacity to work under pressure
The ability to learn technical concepts
Previous experience in electrical concepts (TAFE and/or University courses)
