About Wellness and Supportive Care and the Exercise@ONJ Centre
The integrated model of multidisciplinary care within Cancer Services relies on a dynamic, appropriately qualified, and skilled team to support patients undergoing care in both the Inpatient and Ambulatory settings, with a key focus on integrating Wellness and Supportive Care into standard care.
At the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre, the Exercise@ONJ Centre team includes accredited exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, and researchers with specialised knowledge in prescription exercise programs for individuals with cancer undergoing cancer treatment. The Exercise@ONJ Centre has extensive clinical and research collaborations with the medical, surgical, and supportive care staff of the ONJC centre. Our core priorities include assisting patients during the pre-surgical and post-surgical phases as well as during active treatment.
About the role
This position delivers exercise physiology services to oncology outpatients by providing patient services (individual and group), consulting to staff, and supporting the work of the Wellness and Supportive Care program.
