Task & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior architects in developing architectural design concepts
- Prepare documentation, models, and specifications for small-medium scale construction projects across a range of sectors (commercial, residential, institutional, public)
- Manage all project stages for smaller scale residential, commercial and education sector projects.
- Prepare documentation for medium scale projects and work as part of a larger project team to deliver these projects efficiently.
- Coordinate consultants and manage client relationships.
- Conduct site visits, inspections and respond to RFI's during construction to ensure adherence to design plans and specifications
Qualification & Experience
- Master's degree in Architecture with minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in the architectural industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Australian Architectural practice across a range of project types and sectors performing the responsibilities outlined above.
- Proficiency in Revit (required), Enscape, InDesign and Photoshop (desirable).
- Good knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations
- Ability to efficiently produce accurate documentation for small - medium scale projects across a range of sectors
- Experienced writing specifications, schedules of selections and safety in design registers
- Efficient & highly organised with great attention to detail and methodical approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Works well collaboratively whilst being self-driven and capable of working independently.
- Desire and ability to achieve registration as an Architect in QLD in the near future is beneficial.
