Field Service Electrician

The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent electrical skills to repair and maintain plant and equipment. The successful applicant will be required to utilise a range of trade skills to provide a customer focused service.

Reporting to the Branch Manager with the workshop located in Ingleburn, the primary tasks of this role are:

• Provide field service and repair of equipment 

• Ability to process reports and paperwork

• Completion of customer work to high standards and within established timeframes

• Provide product technical support internally and externally

• Attend to customer breakdowns

What you must have

• Must hold a qualified supervisor certificate, and be willing to hold the nomination for the company from start date

• An electrical contractors licence and a current driver’s license

• High energy, tenacious attitude and a drive to succeed

• Expertise in a relevant and related industry to ensure you meet our customers technical and commercial needs

• Ability to troubleshoot generator control system faults and low and high voltage electrical faults

• An ability to learn quickly, think on your feet and be flexible

• Discipline to manage your own time and travel commitments – this is an autonomous role

• Be comfortable using a computer including systems for reporting requirements

• Be able to build relationships quickly and be customer focused in a service environment
