Tasks & responsibilities
This is a full-time role for a Field Services Engineer based in Sydney. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for field service, troubleshooting, technical support, and preventive maintenance of X-ray radiography and X-ray CT instruments while training to support other analytical and imaging equipment.
The role will support customers predominantly on the east coast but will involve wider travel including overseas travel from time to time. The role will also involve providing excellent customer service and support.
Qualifications & experience
- Demonstrated excellence with service and troubleshooting skills
- Factory Training with Yxlon, COMET or equivalent inspection equipment
- 8 years experience field service experience in the X-ray radiography and/or CT
- Experience with high kV X-ray (450kV+)
- 3 years demonstrated experience supporting a team of service engineers.
- Ability to use one VG Studio an advantage
- Technical support and preventive maintenance skills
- Customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Electrical or mechanical engineering background
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar essential
